My State Of Mind

Wednesday, 27 April 2005

Home
candle in the storm
With no destiny
Self imposed blindness
The rude Kilometre
In the darkness of the night
In the grave of my mind
Always bright
Cold Truth
Second Wife
Drunkards

IN THE DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT

My eyes were dim with tears

Not because my fate was near

Neither was it because of my fears

In the church, I was sitting at the rear

Dressed in a black gear

Marking the lose of the one I held dear

We have been together for a year

I could still picture him in casual wear

During picnic, playing with a pear

I could also hear

Words he whispered into my ears

These moments, I will always bear

In my mind for many years.
