My State Of Mind

Wednesday, 27 April 2005

Home
candle in the storm
With no destiny
Self imposed blindness
The rude Kilometre
In the darkness of the night
In the grave of my mind
Always bright
Cold Truth
Second Wife
Drunkards

( DRUNKARDS

The opaque beer has been poisoned

So change your drinking habits

The villagers have being told

Over and over again

But no one seem to understand

Or at least listen

Almost every adult is a drinker

And many old boys and girls

Who think they are grown ups

Move around beerhalls

Drinking this poisonous liquid

Consuming the tasty beverage

Some live on selling it

And many are tempted to buy

Some use judgement of the eyes

And many drink with straws

Men were advised to drink

Beer brewed by their wives only

And never to buy from the streets

Women were to brew

For their husbands only

Young people were strongly encouraged

To drink safe beer

Only after marriage

But no one seem to care

Almost everyone is drunk

Yet there is no way

Of making one sober again.
